The present invention relates to a method and a system for supporting clinical diagnosis based on Hierarchical Fuzzy Inference, comprising the steps of : (a) extracting examination data of multiple examination items for each of many patients from each examination item database; (b) selecting characteristics from examination data of said each examination item; (c) performing Hierarchical Fuzzy Inference by each item about examination data selected according to the characteristics; (d) extracting the examination opinion by disease based on output value of the Fuzzy Inference by each item; and performing clinical assessment comprehensively based on said each opinion. When the present invention is provided, and based on Hierarchical Inference result and comprehensive Inference result of clinical information, such as blood, urine, radiologic examination result, of patients who visit in emergency room, etc. by providing main parameter for a differential diagnosis by disease, a clinical standard, and optimized knowledge, this invention provides a method and a system for supporting clinical diagnosis inferring a possible disease of an emergency patient and helping training and education for a medical staff as well as a medical student.
