The method for pre-insulation of components (1) for assemblies that are enclosed by a housing element using an electrochemical dip lacquering method, comprises connecting the components to a pole of a direct current (DC) source (5), immersing the components in a paint bath (31) connected to another pole of the DC source, and depositing a resist layer as a pre-insulation layer (32) on free metal conductor elements (11) of the components. The free metal conductor elements of the components are connected to a cathode as one pole, and the paint bath is connected to an anode as the other pole. The components are: partially reshaped with the housing element after coating with the pre-insulation layer; and fitted with construction elements after coating with the pre-insulation layer. A binder (10-30 wt.%) based on the total amount of the paint bath, 6 wt.% of body conductivity based on a solid content of the binder, and 0.1-0.8 wt.% of acids based on the total amount of the paint bath are used in the cathodic dip lacquering. An independent claim is included for a component for assemblies.
|
