MULTIFUNCTION MACHINE AND IMAGE READER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unauthorized secondary copying of image data and an image stored in an electronic paper terminal.

SOLUTION: A control part 150 of a multifunction machine 100 determines whether an electronic paper terminal E stores read inhibition information indicating inhibition of reading of image data for copying onto another medium, with respect to image data on a display image of the electronic paper terminal E placed on an original platen 92. The control part 150 inhibits an optical reading part 191 from the execution of optical reading if the reading inhibition information is stored in the portable display medium with respect to the image data on the display image of the electronic paper terminal E.
