<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector with a removing function capable of reducing costs and stably discharging cards by reducing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector comprises a housing 2, in which a card-like member 1 is inserted, and a lock mechanism for restraining a movement of the card-like member 1. Restraint of the card-like member 1 is canceled by actuating a member 8 for a removing operation, so as to remove the card-like member. The housing 2 comprises a mold case 10, in which the card-like member 1 is inserted, and a shield cover 11 movable to the mold case 10 in a card insertion/removing direction. The shield cover 11 comprises an abutting plate part 22, against which a deep side edge of the card-like member 1 is abutted, and an energized plate part 24, against which a return spring 30 is abutted, and is energized in an extruding direction of the card-like member 1 by the return spring 30 and movable in the insertion/removing direction together with the card-like member 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
