<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active tag device in which power saving of a built-in battery is achieved by limiting power supply from the built-in battery to a receiving circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The active tag device comprises: the receiving circuit (for example, an LF signal receiving circuit) for receiving a signal from an external radio wave generating source (for example, a reading apparatus) via an antenna (for example, an LF antenna); and power control means for performing control so that an operation period in which the receiving circuit receives power supply from the built-in battery to perform receiving operation and a pause period in which the receiving circuit does not receive power supply from the built-in battery are repeated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
