<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support metal fitting and the like, which is easy in installation and disassembling work and is also capable of easily coping with a laying state of a cable and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A support metal fitting 10 has a shape with an overhang portion 13 projecting from an upper part of a body 11 and with an overhang portion 15 projecting from a lower part of the body 11 toward the side opposite to the overhang portion 13. A pair of engagement pieces 131 projecting downward are formed on the overhang portion 13. A pair of engagement pieces 151 projecting upward are formed on the overhang portion 15. The support metal fitting 10 is provided in an opening 50 of a structure 40 through which cables 70 pass, and holds bar materials 20 or channel materials 22 supporting a bottom plate 80 for arranging a refractory material 90 in the opening 50 without having it fallen off. The bar materials 20 or the channel materials 22 are laid between a pair of the support metal fittings 10 attached to a frame body 60 fixed to the opening 50. In the case of the bar materials 20, an end part 21 is arranged between the pair of engagement pieces 151.
