FLAT CABLE AND CONNECTION STRUCTURE BETWEEN FLAT CABLE AND PRINTED WIRING BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable and connection structure between the flat cable and a printed wiring board capable of securing stable connection reliability without causing fracture, damage or the like in a connection against mechanical load such as vibration and impact for a long period of time when a conductor exposure part of the flat cable and an electrode part formed on the printed wiring board corresponding to the conductor exposure part thereof are connected by a solder material.

SOLUTION: A flat cable 9 according to an embodiment includes: a plurality of conductors 2 disposed in parallel to each other; an insulating film which covers the plurality of conductors 2 between both ends of each of the plurality of conductors 2 while the both ends in the longitudinal direction are exposed to the outside; and a reinforcement member 10 which convers each of the plurality of conductors 2 in the direction different from the longitudinal direction of the plurality of conductors 2 and which is provided in a part of a region including the ends of the insulating film.
