<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit and driving method for a stepping motor capable of reducing heat generation of the stepping motor more than a conventional one, and a tube pump and driving method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotational position of a stepping motor 2 is detected by a control position detector 6 provided at the stepping motor 2. A position deviation between the rotational position of the stepping motor 2 and a rotational position according to command information is calculated.
