<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesiveness between a main pipe part and a plastic pipe to eliminate fusion failure at that part upon fixing an electrofusion saddle joint having an outer diameter of 60 mm or more to the plastic pipe by a clamp. <P>SOLUTION: The clamp 14 for fixing the saddle joint 11 to the plastic pipe 3 includes: an upper fastening tool 15 which is passed through the main pipe part 2a of the saddle joint 11 and mounted over a saddle part 2b from above, and which presses the saddle part 2b curved on both sides of the main pipe part on the inner peripheral surface which is curved in a projecting shape; and a lower fastening tool 7 having a semicircular shape projecting downward and applied to the plastic pipe 3 from below.
