<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-shielding glass ensuring suitable transparency to achieve sufficient visibility of a test subject while sufficiently ensuring radiation shielding capability. <P>SOLUTION: This radiation-shielding glass includes, as glass composition, in mass%, 10-35% SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 55-80% PbO, 0-10% B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-10% Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-10% SrO, 0-10% BaO, 0-10% Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, and 0-10% K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, and has a total light transmittance of 50% or more at a wavelength of 400 nm for a thickness of 10 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
