<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound deadening type air cooling device which prevents noise occurrence and achieves sound deadening effect in both an inlet port and an outlet port of a cooling fan to reduce noise from an electrical apparatus and the air cooling device. <P>SOLUTION: In a sound deadening type air cooling device 1 cooling electric apparatuses 3, 4 by cooling air circulated by a cooling fan 10, silencers 13, 15 are provided at both an inlet port 12 and an outlet port 14 of the cooling fan.
