<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, an image processing method, and a program capable of improving accuracy of density correction. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: storage means which stores a density correction value; image forming means which forms on a recording medium a color chart including plural patches different in density, by performing density correction with the correction value; reading means which reads the color chart to obtain the read value of the density of each patch; correction value calculation means which in accordance with the magnitude relation among the read value, a density target value in formation of each patch, and a density correction value calculated in previous density correction stored in the storage means, calculates a new correction value using at least one of the read value, the target value, and the previous correction value; and correction value update means which stores the new correction value in the storage means to update the correction value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
