A given embodiment of this vehicle cooling and heating device is equipped with: a compressor; an outdoor heat exchanger; an indoor evaporator; a first cooling medium passage and a second cooling medium passage which form a cooling medium circulation passage and the degree of opening of which can be adjusted to change the flow of the cooling medium; and a control valve. The control valve includes: a shared body, within which the first cooling medium passage and the second cooling medium passage are formed, and which houses a first valve, the degree of opening of which is controlled to adjust the flow of the cooling medium in the first cooling medium passage, and a second valve, the degree of opening of which is controlled to adjust the flow of the cooling medium in the second cooling medium passage; and a shared actuator for the purpose of electrically adjusting the degree of opening of the first valve and the second valve. The control valve is configured so as to have a valve arrangement whereby the first valve or the second valve can be maintained in the closed state or the fully open state when the degree of opening of the other valve is being controlled by the actuator. |
