DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM AND USE OF SAME

A drug delivery system, characterized by including an APJ binding substance and a drug, is capable of delivering a drug to a blood vessel in tumor tissue containing a mature blood vessel, without delivering the drug to a mature blood vessel in normal tissue. This drug delivery system is capable of delivering a desired drug to APJ-expressing cells. APJ-expressing cells include vascular endothelial cells of a mature blood vessel in a tumor; hence, it is possible to provide a therapeutic drug effective against a solid carcinoma, by using a vascular-cell-disorder drug and an anticancer drug as the drug in the drug delivery system.
