摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem in which controllability of model prediction control is degraded when a detection value of a current sensor having an error is used as an initial value of a current. <P>SOLUTION: Command currents idr and iqr and an electric angle &theta; are input to a model prediction control unit 30. The model prediction control unit 30 determines, on the basis of these input parameters, a voltage vector Vi defining an operation state of an inverter IV and inputs the determined voltage vector to an operation part 26. The operation part 26 generates an operation signal on the basis of the input voltage vector Vi and outputs it to the inverter IV. In the model prediction control unit 30, an operation state determination part 34 selects a voltage vector Vi corresponding to small differences between the command currents idr and iqr and predicted currents ide and iqe.
