<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film with excellent light extraction efficiency, which is suitably used for an organic electroluminescent illumination substrate and is capable of extracting more of light emitted from an organic EL layer, to the outside of a device. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester film for an organic electroluminescent illumination substrate has a multilayer film structure in which a smooth layer is disposed on at least one surface on that side of a base layer having a specific amount of light diffusing particles with a specific particle diameter added thereto which is in contact with a metal oxide layer when an organic EL device is manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
