<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert a moderate tensile force on a sheet unwound from a roll sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In an apparatus for cutting a sheet, a sheet feeder 700 includes: a roll sheet support 702 for rotatably supporting the roll sheet R wound around a tube 701; a sheet unwinder 703 for unwinding the sheet S from the roll sheet R supported by the roll sheet support 702; a diameter detector 712 for detecting the diameter of the roll sheet R supported by the roll sheet support; and a tensile force applying unit 707 for applying a braking force on the roll sheet support 702 according to the detection result of the diameter detector 712 to impart a tensile force on the sheet S unwound from the roll sheet R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
