A secondary-side rectifier circuit is provided with a summing rectifier circuit (80) which, in the ON-interval of one amongst a high-side switching circuit (Q1) or a low-side switching circuit (Q2), stores the voltage generated in a second coil on a capacitor as electrostatic energy, and which, in the ON-interval of the other one amongst the high-side switching circuit (Q1) or the low-side switching circuit (Q2), adds the voltage from the capacitor to the voltage generated in the second coil and outputs the voltage as a DC voltage. A switching control circuit (10) uses an ON-interval ratio control means to adjust the output power output from the secondary-side rectifier circuit, said ON-interval ratio control means controlling the ratio of the respective intervals in which the high-side switching circuit (Q1) or the low-side switching circuit (Q2) conduct electricity. Thus configured is a switching power supply device which is reduced in size and which increases power conversion efficiency. |
