摘要 <p>A wastewater treatment method by anaerobic hydrolysis-acidification enhanced with zero-valent iron; 3 to 6 packed layers of zero-valent iron (2) are disposed at the middle portion of an anaerobic hydrolysis-acidification reactor (1); the lower portion of the anaerobic hydrolysis-acidification reactor (1) is connected to a water intake pump (3) via a water intake pipe, allowing the effluent water to enter a subsequent anaerobic or aerobic process; using the residual wastewater (4) from the wastewater treatment plant to start and acclimate the anaerobic hydrolysis-acidification reactor (1). The method greatly reduces the rust generation rate of zero-valent iron utilizing the condition of the anaerobic/air-tight environment. At the same time, the zero-valent iron enhances the contaminant degradation capacity in the anaerobic hydrolysis-acidification reactor (1), thus increasing the COD removal capability and facilitating the formation of acetic acid, a product that can be easily mineralized.</p>
