<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solvent ink and an inkjet printing method capable of forming a thick image in plain paper printing. <P>SOLUTION: The solvent ink includes a pigment, a pigment dispersant, and an organic solvent. The solvent ink includes 0.1-10 mass% of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 6-16 relative to ink mass.
