MAGENTA TONER, DEVELOPER, TONER CARTRIDGE, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magenta toner suppressing decrease in reproducibility of a blue image.

SOLUTION: The magenta toner comprises toner particles containing a colorant and a binder resin. In the toner, Carmine 6B and C.I. Pigment Yellow 180 are used as the colorant, with a mass ratio of Carmine 6B to C.I. Pigment Yellow 180 ranging from 99:1 to 10000:1. A polyester resin including a repeating unit derived from bisphenol A ethylene oxide expressed by general formula (1) is used as the binder resin. In formula (1), m and n each independently represent an integer of 2 or more and 4 or less.
