<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection apparatus that can efficiently perform maintenance of a liquid ejection head and a cap member. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection apparatus 1 includes: a liquid ejection head 2 with a nozzle formation surface 21A where nozzles are formed; the cap member 12 that tightly contacts with the nozzle formation surface 21A with a space A in a region facing the nozzles; and a cleaning liquid discharge port 12b that is disposed within the space A and ejects a cleaning liquid L to the nozzle formation surface 21A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
