<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate capable of keeping the close adhesiveness of a thin silicon oxide film to a PET base material even under high temperature and high humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: The gas barrier laminate includes: the base material (1) composed of a polyethylene terephthalate film; and the thin silicon oxide film (2) laminated on at least one side of the base material.
