<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guardrail buffer enhancing impact absorbing effect and disengagement inducing property. <P>SOLUTION: A guardrail buffer is fixed to a beam 3 of a guardrail 1 to absorb impact caused by vehicle contact. The guardrail buffer comprises a base part 7 which covers the front face 3S of the beam 3, C-shaped hook parts 10 which are arranged at an upper and lower parts of the base part 7 to be locked on an upper edge 2eU and a lower edge 2eL of the beam 3, respectively, and a buffer body 8 to be horizontally slidably fixed along the beam 3 with an integrally formed impact absorbing protrusions 9 which project from the rear face of the base part 7 and can come in contact with the front face 3S of the beam 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
