<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly homologous engineered antibodies based on antibodies from an originating species which exhibit reduced immunogenicity while maintaining an optimum binding profile. <P>SOLUTION: Hybrid antibodies and/or hybrid antibody fragments and methods of making them are provided.
