<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll unit that is compact, highly-rigid, and easy to change rolls, and, when in use, mounted on an outer housing of a diameter reduction pipe rolling equipment stand for reducing the diameter of a pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The roll unit 1 includes: a front frame 11 and a rear frame 13 provided with through-holes 19, 29 the center of which a pipe 10 to be reduced in diameter put through, and for making bearing receiving boxes 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d unmovable in a path line direction by sandwiching the bearing receiving boxes 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d in which rolls 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d are held rotatably; and a roll housing 3 including load receiving plates 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d for receiving loads from the bearing receiving boxes 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, and removably connecting the front frame 11 and the rear frame 13; and space adjustment devices 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d mounted between the load receiving plates 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d and the bearing receiving boxes 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, and for adjusting spaces between the rolls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
