The present invention is a still image extraction device for extracting, as a still image, a specific frame from a plurality of frames. The still image extraction device is provided with an extraction condition registration means, an extraction determination means, and an extraction means. The extraction condition registration means registers an extraction condition for extracting the still image with an extraction condition recording unit, the extraction condition being specified by a user of the still image extraction device. The extraction determination means determines, for each of the plurality of frames, whether or not the frame matches the extraction condition registered with the extraction condition recording unit. The extraction means extracts, as the still image, the frame determined to match the extraction condition.
