<p>The problem that is solved by this invention relates to how simultaneously combine the effects of massage and therapy with effects of rocking a patient. The device enables simultaneous manual massage and therapy, with constant rocking the bed in various directions, as the therapist walks on the walking platform. The device comprises: the walking assembly (A), that remains still; the massage and therapy assembly (B), that is rocked; and the connecting assembly (C). The walking assembly has the platform (1) placed with its legs on the floor, and the massage and therapy assembly (B) has the patient bed (7). The massage and therapy assembly and the walking assembly are mutually connected by the connecting assembly that includes the damper (13). While massaging and treating the patient, the therapist walks on the platform and around the massage bed. The therapist rocks the massage bed by massaging the patient and, while walking on the platform, he pushes the console by the front end of his foot. By transferring his own weight through his hands to the patient, the therapist increases the effect of controlled rocking, with multiple effects to the patient. The device enables also self-exercising combined with rocking.</p> |
