<p>The present invention relates to the technical field of mobile communications, and disclosed are a system and a method for controlling service arrearages. The system for controlling the service arrearages comprises a service center and an arrearages control gateway. The service center initiates, according to a service request of a sender terminal or an application provider, arrearages authentication to the arrearages control gateway for a sender subscriber and/or a receiver subscriber involved by the service request. The arrearages control gateway performs the arrearages authentication for the sender subscriber and/or the receiver subscriber, and feeds back an arrearages authentication result to the service center. The service center further performs corresponding processing according to the arrearages authentication result, and stops providing a business service, informs the delinquent subscriber of the arrearages, and requests the subscriber to pay in time if the arrearages authentication result shows that the sender subscriber and/or the receiver subscriber is delinquent. The application of the present invention can implement the arrearages control of the multimedia message service, prevent delinquent subscribers from occupying network resources, and protect the interests of operators.</p> |
