<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor to which a resolver is easily incorporated. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes a resolver 8. The resolver 8 includes: a resolver rotor 81 fixed to one end of a shaft 4; and a resolver stator 82 disposed around the resolver rotor 81 leaving a clearance. A motor case 2 includes a motor holder 21 integrally formed of a metal plate. The motor holder 21 includes a cylindrical peripheral wall part 21a and a bottom wall part 21b. The bottom wall part 21b includes: a bearing recess part 22 installed on the inner face thereof; a resolver recess part 24 which is installed on the outer face thereof and to which the resolver stator 82 is fixed; and a shaft hole 25 which is opened on the bearing recess part 22 and the resolver recess part 24 and through which one end of the shaft 4 penetrates.
