<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that has an automatic detection function and is capable of automatically or manually adjusting lightness without depending on a lamp holder. <P>SOLUTION: This light source device includes at least one light-emitting unit string, and each light-emitting unit string includes one or a plurality of light emitting-units to be serially connected. An AC/DC power supply converter converts AC voltage to DC voltage to supply current to the light emitting unit. In one embodiment, a detection unit performs detection and sending of a detection signal. In another embodiment, a lightness adjusting unit generates various kinds of adjusting signals after adjustment, and makes each different lightness mode expressed. Subsequently, a resistor network generates a control signal based on the detection signal or the adjusting signal, and a switch unit controls lightness of the light-emitting unit based on the control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
