摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a video signal processing method that enable appropriate light-amount-falloff correction dependent on photographing circumstances. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: means that generates a video signal from a video imaged on an imaging element by an optical unit; means that detects a hand-shake-caused image blur occurring when the video signal is generated and that optically or electronically changes an angle of imaging field; and means that finds a correction gain in accordance with coordinate positions of pixels on the imaging element by using pre-stored data, and uses the correction gain to correct a light amount falloff caused by the optical unit. The imaging apparatus changes the correction gain, which is in accordance with the coordinate positions, on the basis of a deviation from an optical center of the changed angle of imaging field, thereby enabling light amount correction in a field having a decreased light amount without degrading image quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
