<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader capable of separately reading a print part and a non-print part. <P>SOLUTION: An image reader includes: an original placement part 1 for placing on a print surface 43, a reading object 40 having a print part and a non-print part; an optical unit 10 which includes a first light source 4 for allowing light to be obliquely made incident to the print surface 43, a second light source 71 for allowing light to be vertically made incident to the print surface 43 via a reflection mirror 72, and an image sensor part 9 for reading first reflection light and second reflection light respectively reflected in the vertical direction with respect to the print surface 43 after being made incident to the print surface 43 from the first and second light sources 4, 71, and moves to read the whole surface of the print surface 43; and an image processing unit 20 for performing the image processing of the print surface 43 by comparing the first reflection light with the second reflection light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
