<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a macro function related to the improvement of convenience in a user concerning a portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 includes: a key macro storage section 7 for receiving a portable terminal operation command to be transmitted from an operation command providing device 13 and storing the portable terminal operation command as a key macro by registration; and a key event generation section 8 for generating a key event corresponding to a key operation for performing the key macro registered in the key macro storage section. A user selects any one of the key macros registered in the key macro storage section, thereby to allow the key event generation section to generate the key event.
