<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguiding type biochemical sensor chip capable of repeatedly performing high sensitive measurement, a biosensor cartridge and a biosensor system. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the optical waveguiding type biochemical sensor chip includes an optical waveguiding part and a sensing part. The optical waveguiding part includes an optical waveguiding layer for guiding light. The sensing part is in contact with a main surface of the optical waveguiding part and includes a sensing material layer. By one reaction of oxidation and reduction corresponding to a specimen introduced into the sensing material layer, a first change is generated in absorption characteristics of the sensing material layer for infiltration light infiltrated into the sensing material layer. By the other reaction of oxidation and reduction caused by voltage applied to the sensing material layer, a second change reversed to the first change is generated in the absorption characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
