<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an exposure member such as LED, while allowing the exposure member to retreat from a photo-sensitive drum. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus (color printer 1) includes: a plurality of exposure members (LED arrays 40) which expose a plurality of photosensitive drums 61 respectively to form an electrostatic latent image; and a photosensitive drum support medium (drawer 100) which is movable and supports the plurality of photo-sensitive drums 61. The plurality of exposure members are provided on the photo-sensitive drum support medium so as to be movable to an exposure position adjacent to the photo-sensitive drum 61 and a retreat position retreated from the photo-sensitive drum 61 and locked at a locking part (long hole 112), and moreover, are accommodated inside the photo-sensitive drum support medium at any position of the exposure position and the retreat position. The photo-sensitive drum support medium is movably provided with an action member (translation cam 200) which abuts on an acted part 43A of the exposure member and moves the exposure member to an exposure position or a retreat position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
