<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically assemble parts even if a repeated positioning accuracy is higher than required assembling accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic assembling system is provided with a second part recognizing means which recognizes a position of the assembling part based on a second part image, a part moving means which moves a first part 51 to the position of the assembling part, an assembling conducting means which assembles the first part 51 moved by the part moving means to a second part 52, an assembling determining means which determines whether the assembling is successful or not, a first part recognizing means which recognizes the position of the first part 51 based on a butting image in the case that the assembling is not successful, a correction amount calculating means which calculates a position correction amount for the first part 51 based on the position of the assembling part and the position of the first part 51, and a part position correcting means which moves the first part 51 based on the position correction amount.
