<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information related to passengers such as peripheral information of destinations, to the passengers waiting for arrival of a train in a station platform where electronic advertisement media are installed. <P>SOLUTION: An operation control system includes: an information display device 205 having a function of selectively displaying display contents; train schedule information; and a function of detecting a train on a railway. The operation control system further includes a means for outputting a signal for switching display according to the attribute of a train 103 that stops in a station platform 102, to the information display device 205.
