<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic diagnosis system capable of displaying easily-visible endoscopic images of both a blood level in a medium to deep layer of a mucous membrane and a surface-layer blood vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscopic diagnosis system includes: a white light source which emits white light; a narrowband light source which emits narrowband blue light; an image sensor which has blue, green and red color filters on a light receiving surface, and which takes a narrowband light image by receiving reflected light of the white light and the narrowband light, appplied to a subject at a predetermined light emission ratio, from the subject, in the case of a narrowband light observation mode; an image processing section which computes an enhanced luminance signal enhancing a blue image signal of the narrowband light image, which computes a hemoglobin index representing the blood level in the medium to deep layer of the mucous membrane from green and red image signals of the narrowband light image, which computes an enhanced color difference signal enhancing red according to a value of the hemoglobin index, and which generates an image signal of an endoscopic image for display from the enhanced luminance signal and the enhanced color difference signal; and a display device which displays the endoscopic image corresponding to the image signal of the endoscopic image for display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
