<p>The present invention discloses a plant extract composition used for preventing and treating carbohydrate metabolism disorder, comprising total Radix Notoginseng saponin extract and total Rhizoma Coptidis alkaloid extract. The present invention also discloses preparative method of said composition, comprising: (A) extracting Radix Notoginseng with C1-3 alcohol, combining extracts and concentrating to obtain concentrated liquid, removing non-saponin component from the concentrated liquid to obtain total Radix Notoginseng saponin extract; (B) adding C1-3 alcohol into Rhizoma Coptidis, refluxing, concentrating to obtain concentrated liquid, dissolving the concentrated liquid in acid, and performing alkali precipitation and recrystallization to obtain total Rhizoma Coptidis alkaloid extract; and (C) mixing the total Radix Notoginseng saponin extract and the total Rhizoma Coptidis alkaloid extract to obtain said composition. The present invention further discloses use of said composition in manufacture of medicaments and/or health care products for preventing or treating carbohydrate metabolism disorder.</p> |
