<p>An RF unit (22) receives and amplifies a prescribed signal. A gain-control unit (32) controls the gain of the RF unit (22) on the basis of the amplified signal and has the RF unit (22) use said controlled gain. The gain-control unit (32) controls the gain differently depending on whether: the received signal is a known signal at the head of a packet signal; or the signal received by a reception unit is a signal other than a packet signal.</p> |
