PURPOSE: A mono tube type shock absorber comprising an eye member is provided to increase the volume of a gas chamber. CONSTITUTION: A mono tube type shock absorber comprising an eye member comprises a cylinder(10), a piston valve, a piston rod, and a free piston(17). The cylinder comprises an oil chamber(12) and a gas chamber(16) separated by the free piston accommodated inside the cylinder. The eye member is installed to connect a vehicle wheel and the lower portion of the cylinder.
