<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally conductive silicone composition that provides a cured product simultaneously having thermal conductivity, transparency, and flame retardancy, and to provide the cured product thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The thermally conductive silicone composition includes surface-hydrophobized silica comprising a substrate silica comprising an SiO<SB POS="POST">1/2</SB>unit (unit Q) and a surface treatment agent applied and bonded to the surface of the substrate silica. The surface treatment agent is an organosilicon compound represented by general formula (X), wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is either a monovalent organosiloxane group which may have a trifunctional branch but not a tetrafunctional branch and whose terminal bonded to a silicon atom is terminated by an oxygen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is an alkyl group; and x is an integer of 1-3. The molar ratio (p/q) of the number (p) of the silicon atom constituting the surface treatment agent bonded to the surface of the substrate silica to the number (q) of the unit Q is in the range of 0.01-0.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
