<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of patient information (a prescription) to third persons due to character information and bar code information recorded on the prescription having a possibility of being read by others. <P>SOLUTION: In a prescription management method using an IC tag-attached prescription processing device 111, an IC tag 103 on which at least prescription ID for identifying the prescription and prescription information indicating prescribed contents are recorded and an individual identification IC card 104 which is an individual (patient) identification card such as a medical examination card are used.
