<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber holding member being easily manufactured at a low cost and capable of performing an optical transmission of high reliability, and to provide a component for a photoelectric conversion module, and the photoelectric conversion module. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber holding member 11 includes a ferrule 12 that is formed with an optical fiber insertion hole 13 into which a glass fiber is inserted, and that is provided with an electrode 14 at the front end 22 in the forward side in the glass fiber insertion direction. The electrode 14 is linearly extended towards the upper face 12a and the lower face 12b, or the side faces adjoined to the front end 22 of the ferrule 12, the end is exposed to the upper face 12a and the lower face 12b to form a pad surface 14a, and a part of the electrode 14 is covered with a rib 20 at the front end 22 of the ferrule 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
