In order to provide a system for detecting/classifying abnormalities of a solar battery even during power generation, the output voltage and output current of the solar battery during power generation are detected, and, using the detected voltage/current values and measurement data of an external environmental measurement section, numerical value computation of a solar battery characteristic expression and computation of a threshold value for detecting abnormal states are performed. The types of abnormal states of the solar battery are classified using the computation results of the characteristic expression and the threshold value.
