The prosthesis has a femoral component provided with a lateral condyle and a medial condyle. A tibia component comprises a sliding surface for the lateral condyle and a medial sliding surface for the medial condyle. A movable sliding core (4) is arranged on the medial sliding surface and moved along a curved sliding guide rail (7) in a tibia carrier plateau (1) of the tibia component in an anterior-posterior direction. The guide rail comprises front and rear stops for limiting anterior-posterior movement of the sliding core, and an immovable sliding core (5) is fixed at the plateau.
