PURPOSE: A scaling wavelet shift keying is provided to reduce probability of error by using a scaling function and wavelets instead of two carrier waves. CONSTITUTION: A SWSK(Scaling Wavelet Shift Keying) demodulation system(10) comprises a receiving part(400), a matched filter(500), and a comparator(600). An input part receives a digital information signal to be transmitted. A scaling wavelet shift keying modulator(200) modulates an input signal of 1 with a scaling function. The scaling wavelet shift keying modulator modulates an input signal of 0 into a wavelet(high frequency filter coefficient). A noise addition part(300) randomly adds AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise) with respect to noise generated in a communication channel. The matched filter consists of a synchronous receiver which can be used in existing ASK(Amplitude Shift Keying), PSK(Phase Shift Keying), and FSK(Frequency Shift Keying). The comparator modulates the output of the matched filter into 1 or 0 according to a reference value.
