<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-shaped frame or the like for fireproofing of a portion penetrated by a long member, which can easily deal with changes in size, etc., is easy to assemble, etc., regardless of manufacturing costs, and can be firmly secured to a structure. <P>SOLUTION: A side face plate 100a of a frame 1 includes an upper member 10a formed with a lower flange 19 and a lower member 20a formed with an upper flange 27, the upper and lower members being connected to each other. The lower flange 19 and the upper flange 27 are arranged to face outside of the frame 1. The lower flange 27 is formed with an engagement projection 273 in the form of an inverted L and a fitting projection 275. The upper flange 19 is formed with an engagement hole 191 composed of a first hole section 191a and a second hole section 191b continuing to each other, and a fitting hole 195. After an upper surface 273b of the engagement projection 273 is inserted into the first hole section 193a, a wall surface 273a of the engagement projection 273 is inserted into the second hole section 193b to engage the lower flange 27 with the upper flange 19.
