<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which can suitably be dissolved in a solvent containing substantially no aromatic component and contains a hydrolyzable silyl group-containing vinylic copolymer. <P>SOLUTION: The curing resin composition for a coating material includes a vinylic copolymer (A) containing at least one hydrolyzable silyl group at a main chain terminal and/or a side chain in the molecule, and a solvent (B) containing only a solvent containing ≤1.0 wt.% of aromatic components, wherein the vinylic copolymer (A) contains only a monomer (a) having a polymerizable double bond and containing a reactive silyl group bonded to a carbon atom, a branched alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer (b) whose alkyl group has ≥4 carbon atoms and/or an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer (c) whose alkyl group has ≥8 carbon atoms, or further contains only another specific vinylic monomer (d); and the monomer (b) and/or the monomer (c) is ≥50 wt.% of the whole monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
